This innovative clap system takes over where traditional clap skate technology ends, providing acceleration and speed previously non-existent in a traditional clap system. Unlike a traditional hinge and spring system, the Fulcrum Clapskate uses a simple axle and track system that lifts the boot up from the blade. The skater's energy is transferred to the ball of the foot and provides sustaining support and comfort throughout the entire length of the stroke, allowing the skater to move forward more naturally, efficiently and quickly.
Our testing confirms that there will be a minimum 3% increase in performance over traditional clap skates.
